Salvation as easy as ABC
Are you trying to fill life voids with other things besides Jesus? You will never know the peace He can bring you through His death, burial, and resurrection gift until you place complete trust in Him. Call upon Him. Repent (turn from your way of thinking and be sorry for your sins.)
Salvation Is Simple but Not Cheap
It cost Jesus Christ everything so that salvation could be offered to us freely. It doesn't matter about your wealth or education or how hard of a worker you might be, God provides salvation to all rich or poor great or small if one is willing to accept it.
Salvation is available to us based on our own personal faith, no one can do it for you. It is So Simple a child can exercise their faith. Everyone can come to Jesus it is that simple. He is not a respecter of persons we are all the same in God's eyes (sinners).
We cannot buy it earn it or work for it it is a free gift if we only truly accept it. Paul said " For by Grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. ( Ephesians 2:8-9)
How simple is it to be Saved?
1. It is as simple as entering through a door. " I am the door by me if anyone enters in they will be saved..." (John 10:9)
2. It is as simple as calling for Help. " For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved". (Romans 10:13)
3.It is as simple as coming when called. " Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Mathew 11:28)
4. It is as simple as receiving a gift. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
5. It is as simple as drinking water. Jesus said, "But whosoever drinketh of the water I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water I shall give him shall be in him a well of living water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14)
6. It is as simple as eating bread. Jesus said, "For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world...I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if anyone eat of this bread, they shall live forever:" (John 6:33, 51)
7. It is as simple as believing God. "Verily,verily I say unto you, He that believth on me hath everlasting life:" (John 6:47)
Often we think we have to do something to achieve eternal life in heaven. We are incapable of doing that. It took a perfect God giving a perfect gift of sacrifice to atone for the sins of the world. If you trust in Him he will forgive you of all sins (past, present, and future) because that is what it takes to get to heaven and He has that power.
IT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION OF YOU LIFE!
Will you call upon him today? You can right now. Will you do it? "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)
Would you say a PRAYER from your heart something like this...Dear God, I admit I am a sinner, going to hell. I know that I cannot save myself. I repent of my sins and put my faith in the blood of that which you shed for me on the cross to pay for my sins. I now accept you as my savior and trust you to take me to heaven. Please forgive me of all my sins toward you. I now place my faith and trust in you.Thank you for saving me. Amen.
